Gameplay

Players must use their personal Xbox Live account that is connected to their FirstBlood account for all tournaments and events. The highest seeded team is responsible for creating the game lobby. Moving outside of the normal boundaries of a map includes but is not limited to part of the character’s body passing through what should be a non permeable surface or object and moving into any area from which your character registers shots on an opponent who is not able to register shots on your character. Areas of the map on a “kill timer” (or, an area in which the game gives the Player a limited amount of time to return to standard boundaries before auto-elimination) are permitted for Player use. If a Game/Match is started without the approval of a Tournament Official, it may be restarted from the beginning. Players who end a Game without a Tournament Official’s permission may forfeit the Game/Match. If a Player disconnects after the Game/Match has begun, ending the Game without a Tournament Official’s permission will result in a forfeit of the Game/Match. Violation of rules found in this section may result in Game or Match forfeiture at the discretion of the Administration. Substitute players are not permitted in this competition without the explicit permission of the Administration. Teams will be required to use the players on their matchroom roster at the time of tournament start unless stated otherwise by the Administration.

Players may not move their character outside of the normal boundaries of a map. Moving outside of the normal boundaries of a map includes but is not limited to part of the character’s body passing through what should be a non-permeable surface or object and moving into any area from which your character registers shots on an opponent who is not able to register shots on your character. Areas of the map on a “kill timer” (or, an area in which the game gives the Player a limited amount of time to return to standard boundaries before auto-elimination) are permitted for Player use. Disconnects: If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds, the game will be restarted at 0-0. Past 30 seconds - we carry over scored to the restarted game

If a player disconnects within the first 30 kills in Slayer, the game will be restarted at 0-0. Past 30 kills in Slayer we carry over scored to the restarted game

Substitute players are not permitted in this competition without the explicit permission of the Administration. Teams will be required to use the players on their matchroom roster at the time of tournament start unless stated otherwise by the Administration.

2v2

If any number of players disconnect, the game will be restarted with adjusted scores to win for each team, based on the difference in score at the time of the first disconnection in the game. This is called a differential.

(i.e. If the difference in score between teams is 6 during a game, for example a 20-14 score at the time of disconnection, the team with 14 needs 25 to win and the team with 20 needs 19.)

If this happens 3 times in the same game by the same player, the team with that player must forfeit that game.

Lagging: If a player is lagging, the game must continue to play. After the match, the player will be given 10 minutes to fix their connection. Contact ab admin if this occurs

Cheating: WILL NOT be tolerated. NO ACCOUNT SHARING!! No stream sniping, no hacks/aimbots, or deliberate disconnects. Leaving the designated play area is also not allowed (i.e. breaking out of maps).
