FirstBlood Technologies, Inc. (“FirstBlood”) reserves the right to modify these rules at any point in time without notice. All rule changes shall be effective immediately upon posting, unless otherwise stated by FirstBlood.

Enforcement of these Head to Head and Tournament Rules is at the express and sole discretion of FirstBlood and its affiliates.

By participating in any Head to Head match or Tournament, the user/player expressly accepts to be bound by and adhere to these rules.

ACTIVISION ID

All competitions unless otherwise stated require players to have an Activision ID linked to their account. Not doing so will mark you as ineligible to compete.

Activision IDs must only include the English alphabet, numbers and characters. Special characters such as emojis, faces and other languages are not permitted as they cannot be accessed on the consoles US/EU keyboard layouts

Snaking is restricted in all MWII matches and tournaments.

Usage of a restricted item will result in a forfeit of the most recent round played. If you see your opponents using a restricted item you must leave the game the following round and request an admin in your match chat for further assistance. 

All tournaments are CROSS-PLAY unless otherwise stated in the description of the tournament. 

PC PLAYERS

It is the responsibility of all teams to check if your opponent is streaming. If a match is completed and a team was found not to be streaming, the outcome will be handled at the discretion of the admins. 

All PC players MUST be streaming their point of view WITH AUDIO ON FOR IN-GAME AND VOICE COMMUNICATION when competing in this tournament and be able to provide their stream link and proof when asked for by their opponents or UMG admins (VODS MUST BE ENABLED).

Players who refuse to stream and/or setup a monitor cam at the request of an admin will be forfeited from the tournament with no refund and will be suspended from the platform.

Players may link their streams on their profile. 

Admins reserves the right to request a user to set up a monitor/ hand cam at any point during the tournament. Players who refuse to stream and/or setup a monitor cam at the request of an admin will be forfeited.

HACKING/CHEATING/IP FLOODING

Players found hacking/cheating/IP Flooding will be permanently banned from the Firstblood website. All claims need to be provided to tournament support with video proof of the player(s) being accused. Players found competing with hackers/cheaters/booters will be permanently banned from the website.

MATCHES

With all private matches being run through dedicated servers we will not be issuing round replays unless everyone in the lobby was lagging. Proof of lag from more than one member's perspective must be submitted so long as the match is larger than a 1v1 to ensure it is the server lagging and not the individual player's connection.

In the event of the host leaving the game or their game crashing it will crash the dedicated server. If the host crashes the dedicated server after 15 seconds OR after a first blood has been made the hosting team will forfeit the round. 

Please see your match details page for information regarding hosting. The team with the total number of rounds won accumulated from maps played within the series will host the last map in the series if there is one. If total rounds won during the series is tied, the higher seeded team (closest to zero) will host the last map within the series. 

The team who does not host the map will be given side choice unless otherwise stated.

Using any in game exploit will result in a forfeit of the round or map depending on the severity of the exploit eg:

a. Planting/diffusing through unbroken destructible structures

b. Going to out of bounds "glitch" spots.

1.Violations/Punishments

The following is an overview of definitions and punishments for various forms of cheating or abuse on the FirstBlood platform.

Player Abuse:

24 hour to permanent ban

Player abuse is defined as any abusive verbal, written, or other communication directed at another player or person. This includes, but is not limited to, any form toxicity, racism, religious harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, or trash talking.

Staff Abuse

24 hour to permanent ban

Player abuse is defined as any abusive verbal, written, or other communication directed at any FirstBlood staff. This includes, but is not limited to, any form of spam, racism, religious harassment, sexual harassment, or trash talking.

Account Sharing

28 to 365 day ban

Users are prohibited from sharing Firstblood account information.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following: usernames, passwords, gamertags, email accounts, etc.

If another person accesses your account, you may be disqualified from the battle you are participating in as well as be removed from the platform.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Firstblood is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of your account being compromised.

Bug abuse:

24 hour to permanent ban

The use and/or exploitation of in-game or FirstBlood platform bugs to course benefit or detriment to any user is strictly prohibited. The only acceptable use for any bug for the purposes of discovery and reporting to the FirstBlood team.

Ghosting/Sniping:

24 hour day to permanent ban

The use of any live or delayed footage, audio, or information of a current game, outside of that which is available to players within the game client, to the benefit or detriment of any user is strictly prohibited.

Spamming:

7 to 84 day ban

Spamming text, audio, images, or anything else within the FirstBlood platform or any game client during competition is strictly prohibited. Content of spam will define the ban duration.

Unsportsmanlike behavior:

1 hour to 84 day ban

Abusive or unsportsmanlike behavior toward teammates and/or opponents is strictly prohibited. Ban duration will be determined based on severity as determined by the FirstBlood team.

Cheating:

365 day to permanent ban

The utilization of any 3rd party services to assist in gaining any form of unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of 3rd party platforms, specific software, and the use of external scripts.

Positive Environment:

Our goal here is to provide gamers with a place to find fair and competitive matches.

In order to accomplish this goal, we will not tolerate players or teams that cause problems or attempt to undermine the positive atmosphere on Firstblood.

This includes teams that cheat, dispute on purpose, or repeatedly abuse other players.

Each Player knowingly consents to participate in any or all Battle activities under

PLAYER, ON BEHALF OF HIMSELF OR HERSELF AND HIS OR HER HEIRS,

HEREBY RELEASES, DISCHARGES AND HOLDS THE BATTLE ENTITIES

HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL ACTUAL AND POTENTIAL,

KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED CLAIMS, DEMANDS,

CAUSES OF ACTION, COSTS, LOSSES, INJURIES, LIABILITIES AND DAMAGES OF

ANY KIND OR NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION MENTAL AND/OR

PHYSICAL INJURIES OR DEATH AND DAMAGES TO OR LOSS OF PERSONAL

PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, TO

PARTICIPATING IN THE BATTLE, ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY

TOURNAMENT-RELATED EVENT OR ACTIVITY AND/OR THE USE OR MISUSE OF

ANY PRIZE.
